Hundreds of projects, from Palm Beach to Block Island and Nantucket, have been completed since the firm began, and Jack Franzen brings over 30 years of professional expertise to J.P. Franzen Associates Architects, P.C. A graduate of Cornell University, where he received a BArch and MArch, Jack taught design at Cornell before working for the New York State Historic Trust. He then joined Victor Christ Janer Associates in New Canaan, Connecticut.
His volunteer involvement on community and professional boards and commissions has been extensive including serving as President of AIA/Connecticut and as a Director on the Board of the American Institute of Architects. He received an Upjohn Fellowship in 2000, and he became a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects in 2001.
